We are looking for an enthusiastic Perception Algorithm Engineer to develop the core algorithms behind our next-generation visual intelligence systems. At Lumeriz, you will help build perception models that elevate the capabilities of our advanced image sensors.
About the Role
In this position, you will work on algorithmic development for perception and visual intelligence, collaborating with a wide range of product, platform, and sensor teams. This role blends research, engineering, and real-world deployment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Algorithm R&D: Contribute to algorithm development, modeling, and system-level understanding for perception tasks.
2. System Understanding: Work with circuit and sensor teams to ensure algorithms leverage sensor characteristics effectively.
3. Collaboration: Partner with pixel, digital, system, and research teams to deliver integrated perception solutions.
4. Validation: Support performance evaluation, debugging, and data-driven improvements.
5. Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to reviews and internal discussions.
Qualifications
1. Education: Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Microelectronics, or related fields.
2. Experience: 0–5 years in algorithm development or mixed-signal/sensor-related research.
3. Technical Strength: Strong understanding of fundamentals such as noise, signal processing, stability, and low-power design (adaptable for perception work).
4. Tools: Familiarity with MATLAB/Python or sensor/IC design tools depending on background.
5. Plus: Experience in image sensors, perception algorithms, or sensor-driven AI.
6. Soft Skills: Self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to work in a young, fast-paced environment.
7. Language: Strong communication skills in English.
